I worked on the Nativa team in a few roles over several (non-consecutive) years. I worked as their eCommerce manager, improving their site visuals, SEO and product listing quality. I ran their social media platforms in my first role as well.
I also ran email campaigns that averaged returns of $1500-$3000 per send.
In my final role with them lasting from December 2020 – July 2021, I was a contract social media manager and content creator.
They were at 15K followers when I started and 22K when I left the role.
I used a mix of organic and paid strategy and averaged around 100+ new engaged followers per week throughout my tenure there.
Every Saturday I would go into their storefront an create content based on their new inventory, upcoming sales, and new sales floor designs. By Sunday everything would be edited and uploaded to our scheduling platform where the owner and team could review the work.
Even though I had picked up a lot over my years there, I had to be more educated than ever on the handmade items we sourced from all over Mexico. Every region has it’s own style of embroidery and craft work, all made by hand.

I refined my weekly organic and paid mix strategy over the 1.5 years I ran these accounts resulting in an average of 100+ new followers every week.
Weekly Schedule
Every week I would go into their storefront and create photos and video content. The team would also provide me with a calendar of upcoming sales and focus items.
Requirements
This was a Fair Trade company who worked with real Mexican Artisans. I had to be accurate about product info including embroidery techniques and their source regions.
